Славьте Господа; призывайте имя Его; возвещайте в народах дела Его; воспойте Ему и пойте Ему; поведайте о всех чудесах Его. Хвалитесь именем Его святым; да веселится сердце ищущих Господа. Ищите Господа и силы Его, ищите лица Его всегда. Воспоминайте чудеса Его, которые сотворил, знамения Его и суды уст Его, вы, семя Авраамово, рабы Его, сыны Иакова, избранные Его. Он Господь Бог наш: по всей земле суды Его. Вечно помнит завет Свой, слово, которое заповедал в тысячу родов, которое завещал Аврааму, и клятву Свою Исааку, и поставил то Иакову в закон и Израилю в завет вечный, говоря: тебе дам землю Ханаанскую в удел наследия вашего. Когда их было еще мало числом, очень мало, и они были пришельцами в ней и переходили от народа к народу, из царства к иному племени, никому не позволял обижать их и возбранял о них царям: не прикасайтесь к помазанным Моим, и пророкам Моим не делайте зла. И призвал голод на землю; всякий стебель хлебный истребил. Послал пред ними человека: в рабы продан был Иосиф. Стеснили оковами ноги его; в железо вошла душа его, доколе исполнилось слово Его: слово Господне испытало его. Послал царь, и разрешил его владетель народов и освободил его; поставил его господином над домом своим и правителем над всем владением своим, чтобы он наставлял вельмож его по своей душе и старейшин его учил мудрости. Тогда пришел Израиль в Египет, и переселился Иаков в землю Хамову. И весьма размножил Бог народ Свой и сделал его сильнее врагов его. Возбудил в сердце их ненависть против народа Его и ухищрение против рабов Его. Послал Моисея, раба Своего, Аарона, которого избрал. Они показали между ними слова знамений Его и чудеса Его в земле Хамовой. Послал тьму и сделал мрак, и не воспротивились слову Его. Преложил воду их в кровь, и уморил рыбу их. Земля их произвела множество жаб даже в спальне царей их. Он сказал, и пришли разные насекомые, скнипы во все пределы их. Вместо дождя послал на них град, палящий огонь на землю их, и побил виноград их и смоковницы их, и сокрушил дерева в пределах их. Сказал, и пришла саранча и гусеницы без числа; и съели всю траву на земле их, и съели плоды на полях их. И поразил всякого первенца в земле их, начатки всей силы их. И вывел Израильтян с серебром и золотом, и не было в коленах их болящего. Обрадовался Египет исшествию их; ибо страх от них напал на него. Простер облако в покров им и огонь, чтобы светить им ночью. Просили, и Он послал перепелов, и хлебом небесным насыщал их. Разверз камень, и потекли воды, потекли рекою по местам сухим, ибо вспомнил Он святое слово Свое к Аврааму, рабу Своему, и вывел народ Свой в радости, избранных Своих в веселии, и дал им земли народов, и они наследовали труд иноплеменных, чтобы соблюдали уставы Его и хранили законы Его. Praise the Lord; call on his name; declare His deeds among the nations;
sing to Him and sing to Him; tell about all His miracles.
Boast in His holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice.
Seek the Lord and His strength, seek His face always.
Remember His wonders that you have done, His signs and the judgments of His mouth,
you, the seed of Abraham, His servants, the sons of Jacob, His chosen ones.
He is the Lord our God: in all the earth his judgments are.
He forever remembers his covenant, the word he commanded for a thousand generations,
which he bequeathed to Abraham, and his oath to Isaac,
And he made it to Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant,
Saying, I will give you the land of Canaan for the inheritance of your inheritance.
When they were still few in number, very few, and they were aliens in it
and passed from nation to nation, from kingdom to another tribe,
He did not allow anyone to offend them and rebuked the kings about them:
touch not mine anointed, and do not evil to my prophets.
And called hunger to the land; He has destroyed every stalk of grain.
He sent a man before them: Joseph was sold as a slave.
They restrained his legs with fetters; his soul entered into iron,
until his word was fulfilled: the word of the Lord tested him.
The king sent, and the ruler of the nations released him and freed him;
made him lord over his house and ruler over all his dominion,
so that he would instruct his nobles according to his soul and teach his elders wisdom.
Then Israel came to Egypt, and Jacob moved to the land of Hamova.
And God greatly multiplied His people, and made them stronger than their enemies.
He aroused in their hearts hatred against His people and a ruse against His servants.
He sent Moses, his servant, Aaron, whom he had chosen.
They showed between them the words of His signs and His wonders in the land of Ham.
He sent darkness and made darkness, and did not resist His word.
He turned their water into blood, and killed their fish.
Their land produced many frogs, even in the bedroom of their kings.
He said, and different insects came, scnips in all their limits.
Instead of rain, he sent hail on them, scorching fire on their land,
And he killed their grapes and their fig trees, and smashed the trees within them.
He said, and the locusts and caterpillars came without number;
And they ate up all the grass in their land, and ate the fruit in their fields.
And he smote every firstborn in their land, the firstfruits of all their strength.
And he brought out the Israelites with silver and gold, and there was no sick man in their knees.
Egypt rejoiced at their departure; for fear from them fell upon him.
He stretched out a cloud to cover them, and fire to shine on them at night.
They asked, and He sent quails, and filled them with the bread of heaven.
He opened the stone, and water flowed, flowed like a river in dry places,
for He remembered His holy word to His servant Abraham,
And he brought his people out in joy, his chosen ones in gladness,
and gave them the lands of the peoples, and they inherited the labor of foreigners,
that they may keep His statutes and keep His laws. Alleluia!
