Who saved me!
I was dying, but now I am brought back to life;
I was blind, but now I see.
It was grace that taught my heart to fear
This grace eased my fear.
And what a precious thing she appeared to me
The hour when I first believed!
Through many dangers, snares and traps
I came here
And grace has kept me on the way until now;
Grace will take me back to my home again.
And may we live ten thousand years
Like the sun shining brightly -
We have more days ahead of us than there were
To sing the praises of God. *
