Премьера нового трека PROTESTER ATOM feat. Rainer Storm - T a i n t e d _ L o v e Как известно, оригинал этой песни впервые исполнила Глория Джонс в 1965 г. Она звучала в стиле северного соула, но популярной так и не стала. Позже, неожиданно для всех, “Tainted Love” вышла в 1981 году в исполнении синти-поп группы Soft Cell. Она взлетела на вершину UK Singles Chart, тем самым буквально оккупировала британские радиостанции, а так же поднялась на 8-ю строчку Billboard Hot 100 в США. Впоследствии каверы на эту песню исполняли многие другие музыканты, включая Marylin Manson, Scorpions, Palast Orchester и Coil. Мы же выбрали за основу исполнение Мерлина Менсона, интерпретируя этот трек по-своему. Для записи вокала и гитары я пригласил своего старого товарища из Санкт-Петербург - Rainer'а, так как был уверен, что он отлично справится с задачей, зная балласт его музыкальных предпочтений и владение вокалом. Возможно, это - не последняя коллаборация с его участием, а насколько удачная эта - судить вам! В оформлении сингла принял участие брат Riner'а - Alex Mj. Прошу не считать, что это какой-то стилистический поворот в творчестве Protester Atom, скорее - просто свежая работа, демонстрирующая персональные возможности по качеству, плюс - новые фирменные фишки. Premiere of a new track
PROTESTER ATOM feat. Rainer Storm -
T a i n t e d _ L o v e
As you know, the original of this song was first performed by Gloria Jones in 1965. It sounded in the style of northern soul, but did not become popular. Later, unexpectedly for everyone, "Tainted Love" was released in 1981 by the synth-pop group Soft Cell. It soared to the top of the UK Singles Chart, thereby literally occupying British radio stations, and also climbed to 8th place on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States. The song has since been covered by many other musicians, including Marylin Manson, Scorpions, Palast Orchester and Coil. We chose the performance of Merlin Menson as a basis, interpreting this track in our own way. To record vocals and guitar, I invited my old friend from St. Petersburg - Rainer, as I was sure that he would do an excellent job, knowing the ballast of his musical preferences and vocal skills. Perhaps this is not the last collaboration with his participation, but how successful this one is - you can judge! Riner's brother Alex Mj took part in the design of the single.
I ask you not to think that this is some kind of stylistic twist in the work of Protester Atom, but rather just a fresh work that demonstrates personal capabilities in quality, plus new branded features.
