Gaily bedight, A gallant knight, In sunshine and in shadow, Had journeyed long, Singing a song, In search of Eldorado. But he grew old, This knight so bold, And o'er his heart a shadow, Fell as he found, No spot of ground, That looked like Eldorado. And, as his strength, Failed him at length, He met a pilgrim shadow; "Shadow," said he, "Where can it be, This land of Eldorado?" "Over the mountains Of the moon, Down the Valley of the Shadow, Ride, boldly ride," The shade replied, "If you seek for Eldorado!" Между гор и долин Едет рыцарь один, Никого ему в мире не надо. He goes forward,
He sings a song ,
He intended to find El Dorado.
But to wander - one
He lived in years,
And faded bygone joy .
Knight went everywhere
But it is not met anywhere
Did not find it anywhere Eldorado .
And when he was tired ,
Previous wanderer appeared
Strange ghost - and whispers , "What do you want? "
Immediately knight him
" Tell me , do not understand ,
Indicate where the country of Eldorado ? "
And Shadow said :
"Where born day ,
Mountains of the Moon which is visible a little bulk .
Through hell over heaven ,
All along , Come ,
If you want to find El Dorado ! "
