Инструмент и музыка дудука являются неотъемлемой частью культурной жизни и национальной идентичности армянского народа. На протяжении многих веков она сопровождала все важные социальные события в жизни армян: народные празднования, торжества, свадебные и похоронные церемонии и др. В 2005 году музыка, исполняемая на армянском дудуке, была признана шедевром Всемирного нематериального культурного наследия ЮНЕСКО. Сегодня мы можем услышать дудук во множестве кинофильмов. Он стал одним из популярнейших инструментов и для исполнения музыки к голливудским саундтрекам. Первым фильмом с мировым именем, в котором прозвучал дудук, стало «Последнее искушение Христа». Duduk instrument and music are an integral part of the cultural life and national identity of the Armenian people. For many centuries, she accompanied all important social events in the life of Armenians: national celebrations, celebrations, wedding and funeral ceremonies, etc. In 2005, the music performed in the Armenian duduk was recognized as a masterpiece of the World Intangible Cultural Heritage of UNESCO.
