День рождения 21 мая 1941 советский и российский историк-медиевист, доктор исторических наук, профессор Специалист по истории средних веков Западной Европы. Занимается проблемами истории международных отношений в Западной Европе XII—XV вв., политической истории Англии и Франции, истории исторической науки. В РГГУ (МГИАИ) с 1971 года. Читает курс лекций «Всеобщая история. Средние века. Запад», спецкурс «Леопард против лилии…». Награждена медалью «В память 850-летия Москвы» (1997), имеет почётное звание «Заслуженный профессор Российского государственного гуманитарного университета» (2006). Автор более 150 работ. ОБРАЗОВАНИЕ И УЧЁНЫЕ СТЕПЕНИ Окончила исторический факультет Московского государственного университета (1963, с отличием), специализировалась по кафедре истории средних веков. Училась у академика Сергея Даниловича Сказкина и профессора Евгении Владимировны Гутновой, бывшей научным руководителем при подготовке её диссертации. Кандидат исторических наук (1969; тема диссертации — «Английская политика в Гаскони в конце XIII — начале XIV вв.»). Доктор исторических наук (1988; тема диссертации: «Англо-французские противоречия в международных отношениях Западной Европы второй половины XII — середины XV вв.»). Профессор (1989). Заслуженный профессор Российского государственного гуманитарного университета (2006). НАУЧНО-ПЕДАГОГИЧЕСКАЯ ДЕЯТЕЛЬНОСТЬ С 1971 — преподаватель кафедры всеобщей истории Московского государственного историко-архивного института (МГИАИ; затем Историко-архивного института Российского государственного гуманитарного университета — ИАИ РГГУ). Специалист по истории средних веков Западной Европы. Занимается проблемами истории международных отношений в Западной Европе XII—XV вв., политической истории Англии и Франции, истории исторической науки. Читает курс лекций «Всеобщая история. Средние века. Запад», спецкурс «Леопард против лилии…». В 1970-е годы организовала при кафедре КИДИС (студенческий кружок истории древности и Средневековья), который организовал «суды истории» — театрализованные обсуждения судеб известных исторических персонажей. О некоторых «судах истории» в 1991—1993 были сняты документальные фильмы. Заведующая кафедрой всеобщей истории Историко-архивного института РГГУ, директор учебно-научного Центра визуальной антропологии и эгоистории, содиректор Российско-американского центра библеистики и иудаики. В 1988—2006 — проректор по учебной работе МГИАИ (затем РГГУ). Вместе с главным редактором этой радиостанции «Эхо Москвы» Алексеем Венедиктовым была ведущей исторической передачи «Не так» на этой радиостанции. Professor (1989). Distinguished Professor of Russian State University for the Humanities (2006).
SCIENTIFIC-PEDAGOGICAL ACTIVITY
Since 1971 - lecturer at the Department of General History of the Moscow State Historical-Archival Institute (MGIAI; then the Historical-Archival Institute of the Russian State Humanitarian University - IAI RGGU). Specialist in the history of the Middle Ages of Western Europe. Deals with the problems of the history of international relations in Western Europe of the 12th — 15th centuries, the political history of England and France, and the history of historical science. He reads a course of lectures “Universal History. Middle Ages. West, special course "Leopard against lilies ...". In the 1970s, she organized at the department of KIDIS (the student circle of the history of antiquity and the Middle Ages), which organized the “Courts of History” - theatrical discussions of the fate of famous historical characters. On some of the "courts of history" in 1991-1993 documentaries were shot.
Head of the Department of World History at the Institute of History and Archives of the RSUH, Director of the Educational and Scientific Center for Visual Anthropology and Egohistory, co-director of the Russian-American Center for Biblical Studies and Judaica. In 1988–2006 - Vice Rector for Academic Affairs MGIAI (then RSUH).
Together with the editor-in-chief of this radio station Ekho Moskvy, Alexei Venediktov, was the leading historical program “Not so” on this radio station. Since 2006, also together with Venediktov, leading the historical program "Everything is so."
