Когда-то на этой земле танцевали слоны. Мохнатые эти слоны были обречены. Теперь же стоит одинокий бетонный завод. На этом заводе написано: только вперёд. И вот мы глядим из окна, невозможный мой кот. Нас видят с тобою луна и бетонный завод. Луна и завод познакомились в тридцать шестом. А мы и подавно недавно на свете живём. Всё дальше и дальше живём, вопрошаем окно: Ужели они танцевали под этой луной? Ужель мы всё дальше и дальше от этих слонов? И звёзды похожи на сонмы танцующих снов. - О тебе, о тебе И небесной музЫке Из далекой грозы, Самой первой весны, О тебе, о тебе, О стране твоей дикой, Где не ходят часы И смеются слоны. Ты пристально смотришь на что-то своё вдалеке. Кошачья молитва плывёт по великой реке, По млечной великой реке, по танцующим снам, Всё дальше и дальше, навстречу мохнатым слонам - Всё дальше и дальше плывёт, утекает в окно, А раньше они танцевали под этой луной, Ужель мы всё дальше и дальше от этих слонов? Once upon a time on this earth elephants danced.
Shaggy these elephants were doomed.
Now there is a lone concrete plant.
At this factory it is written: only forward.
And so we look out of the window, my cat is impossible.
The moon and the concrete plant see you with us.
The moon and the plant met at the thirty-sixth.
And we, moreover, recently live in the world.
We live farther and farther, we ask the window:
Did they dance under this moon?
Are we farther and farther away from these elephants?
And the stars are like hosts of dancing dreams. -

From a distant thunderstorm
The very first spring

And the elephants are laughing.
You stare at something in the distance.
A cat's prayer floats on a great river
By the milky great river, by dancing dreams
Further and further towards shaggy elephants -
Floats further and further, leaks out the window,
And before they danced under this moon
Are we farther and farther away from these elephants?
And the stars are like a host of dancing dreams -
