1 Мудрая жена устроит дом свой, а глупая разрушит его своими руками. 2 Идущий прямым путем боится Господа; но чьи пути кривы, тот небрежет о Нем. 3 В устах глупого – бич гордости; уста же мудрых охраняют их. 4 Где нет волов, там ясли пусты; а много прибыли от силы волов. 5 Верный свидетель не лжет, а свидетель ложный наговорит много лжи. 6 Распутный ищет мудрости, и не находит; а для разумного знание легко. 7 Отойди от человека глупого, у которого ты не замечаешь разумных уст. 8 Мудрость разумного – знание пути своего, глупость же безрассудных – заблуждение. 9 Глупые смеются над грехом, а посреди праведных – благоволение. 10 Сердце знает горе души своей, и в радость его не вмешается чужой. 11 Дом беззаконных разорится, а жилище праведных процветет. 12 Есть пути, которые кажутся человеку прямыми; но конец их – путь к смерти. 13 И при смехе иногда болит сердце, и концом радости бывает печаль. 14 Человек с развращенным сердцем насытится от путей своих, и добрый – от своих. 15 Глупый верит всякому слову, благоразумный же внимателен к путям своим. 16 Мудрый боится и удаляется от зла, а глупый раздражителен и самонадеян. 17 Вспыльчивый может сделать глупость; но человек, умышленно делающий зло, ненавистен. 18 Невежды получают в удел себе глупость, а благоразумные увенчаются знанием. 19 Преклонятся злые пред добрыми и нечестивые – у ворот праведника. 20 Бедный ненавидим бывает даже близким своим, а у богатого много друзей. 21 Кто презирает ближнего своего, тот грешит; а кто милосерд к бедным, тот блажен. 22 Не заблуждаются ли умышляющие зло? [не знают милости и верности делающие зло;] но милость и верность у благомыслящих. 23 От всякого труда есть прибыль, а от пустословия только ущерб. 24 Венец мудрых – богатство их, а глупость невежд глупость и есть. 25 Верный свидетель спасает души, а лживый наговорит много лжи. 26 В страхе пред Господом – надежда твердая, и сынам Своим Он прибежище. 27 Страх Господень – источник жизни, удаляющий от сетей смерти. 28 Во множестве народа – величие царя, а при малолюдстве народа беда государю. 29 У терпеливого человека много разума, а раздражительный выказывает глупость. 30 Кроткое сердце – жизнь для тела, а зависть – гниль для костей. 31 Кто теснит бедного, тот хулит Творца его; чтущий же Его благотворит нуждающемуся. 32 За зло свое нечестивый будет отвергнут, а праведный и при смерти своей имеет надежду. 33 Мудрость почиет в сердце разумного, и среди глупых дает знать о себе. 34 Праведность возвышает народ, а беззаконие – бесчестие народов. 35 Благоволение царя – к рабу разумному, а гнев его – против того, кто позорит его. |

1 A wise woman will build her house, but a foolish one will destroy it with her own hands.
2 The one walking the straight path fears the Lord; but whose ways are crooked, he neglects Him.
3 In the mouth of a fool there is a scourge of pride; the lips of the wise guard them.
4 Where there are no oxen, the manger is empty; and much profit was from the strength of oxen.
5 A faithful witness does not lie, but a false witness will tell many lies.
6 The dissolute seeks wisdom, and does not find; but for the rational, knowledge is easy.
7 Get away from the foolish man, whose lips you do not notice.
8 The wisdom of the prudent is knowledge of his way, but the folly of the foolish is delusion.
9 Fools laugh at sin, but good pleasure is among the righteous.
10 The heart knows the grief of its soul, and a stranger will not interfere with its joy.
11 The house of the wicked will be ruined, but the dwelling of the righteous will prosper.
12 There are paths that seem straight to man; but their end is the path to death.
13 And with laughter sometimes the heart aches, and the end of joy is sorrow.
14 A man with a wicked heart will be satisfied from his ways, and the good from his.
15 A fool believes every word, but a prudent one is attentive to his ways.
16 The wise are afraid and move away from evil, but the fool is irritable and presumptuous.
17 The hot-tempered can do stupidity; but a person who deliberately does evil is hateful.
18 The ignorant receive foolishness for themselves, but the prudent will be crowned with knowledge.
19 The wicked bow down before the good, and the wicked at the gates of the righteous.
20 The poor are hated even by those close to them, but the rich have many friends.
21 He who despises his neighbor sins; but he who is merciful to the poor is blessed.
22 Aren't they who design evil? [they who do evil do not know mercy and faithfulness;] but mercy and faithfulness are with those who think well.
23 There is profit from all labor, but from idle talk there is only damage.
24 The crown of the wise is their riches, but the folly of the ignorant is folly.
25 A faithful witness saves souls, but a deceiving one will tell many lies.
26 Fearing the Lord is a firm hope, and He is a refuge for His sons.
27 The fear of the Lord is the source of life, moving away from the snares of death.
28 In the multitude of the people is the greatness of the king, but when the people are small, trouble is for the sovereign.
29 A patient person has a lot of intelligence, but an irritable one shows stupidity.
30 A meek heart is life to the body, but envy is rottenness to the bones.
31 He who oppresses the poor, blasphemes his Creator; He who reveres Him is good to the needy.
32 For his evil, the wicked one will be rejected, but the righteous one has hope even at his death.
33 Wisdom rests in the heart of the prudent, and among the foolish it makes itself known.
34 Righteousness exalts the people, but iniquity is the dishonor of the nations.
35 The king's favor is with the intelligent servant, but his anger is against the one who dishonors him.
