And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the back, sealed with seven seals.
And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice: who is worthy to open this book and to remove its seals?
And no one could, neither in heaven, nor on earth, nor under earth, open this book, nor look into it.
And I cried a lot about the fact that no one was found worthy to open and read this book, and even look at it.
And one of the elders said unto me, Weep not; behold, the lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David, has won, and can open this book and take off its seven seals.
And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the throne and the four animals, and among the elders, stood the Lamb, as it were slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent all over the land.
And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat on the throne.
And when he had taken the book, then the four animals and the twenty-four elders fell before the Lamb, having every harp and golden cups full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.
And they sing a new song, saying: You are worthy to take a book and take off the seals from it, for you have been slain, and through your blood you have redeemed us to God from every kindred and tongue, and people and tribe.
And he made us kings and priests to our God; and we will reign on earth.
And I saw and heard the voice of many angels around the throne and the animals and the old men, and their number was in darkness and thousands of thousands,
Who spoke in a loud voice: Worthy is the Lamb slain to receive power and wealth, and wisdom and strength, and honor and glory and blessing.
And every creature that is in heaven and on earth, and under the earth, and on the sea, and all that I heard in them, said: To those who sit on the throne and to the Lamb, blessing and honor, and glory and power for ever and ever.
And the four animals said, Amen. And the twenty and four elders fell down and worshiped him who lives forever and ever.
