Начальнику хора. Псалом Давида. Небеса проповедуют славу Божию, и о делах рук Его вещает твердь. День дню передает речь, и ночь ночи открывает знание. Нет языка, и нет наречия, где не слышался бы голос их. По всей земле проходит звук их, и до пределов вселенной слова их. Он поставил в них жилище солнцу, и оно выходит, как жених из брачного чертога своего, радуется, как исполин, пробежать поприще: от края небес исход его, и шествие его до края их, и ничто не укрыто от теплоты его. Закон Господа совершен, укрепляет душу; откровение Господа верно, умудряет простых. Повеления Господа праведны, веселят сердце; заповедь Господа светла, просвещает очи. Страх Господень чист, пребывает вовек. Суды Господни истина, все праведны; они вожделеннее золота и даже множества золота чистого, слаще меда и капель сота; и раб Твой охраняется ими, в соблюдении их великая награда. Кто усмотрит погрешности свои? От тайных моих очисти меня и от умышленных удержи раба Твоего, чтобы не возобладали мною. Тогда я буду непорочен и чист от великого развращения. Да будут слова уст моих и помышление сердца моего благоугодны пред Тобою, Господи, твердыня моя и Избавитель мой! Смотрите также:

Chief Musician. A Psalm of David .
The heavens declare the glory of God , and the works of the firmament shows His handiwork .
Day to day pours forth speech , and night unto night reveals knowledge .
No language and no speech , where voice is not heard them .
Through all the earth their sound , and to the ends of the world their words . He put them in the tabernacle for the sun ,
and it comes out like a bridegroom from his bridal chamber , and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race :
from one end of heaven its outcome , and march him to the edge of them, and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof .
The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul ; the revelation of the Lord is sure , making wise the simple .
The precepts of the Lord are right , rejoicing the heart ; the commandment of the LORD is pure , enlightening the eyes .
Fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever . Courts of the LORD are true and righteous altogether ;
desired are they than gold , even much fine gold , sweeter than honey and the honeycomb ;
And thy servant is protected by them in respect of their great reward.
Who can discern his errors? From Forgive my hidden faults
also from presumptuous Keep back thy servant not to have dominion over me . Then I will be blameless, innocent of great transgression .
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight , O Lord , my Rock and my Redeemer !
