И отправился Израиль со всем, что у него было, и пришел в Вирсавию, и принес жертвы Богу отца своего Исаака. И сказал Бог Израилю в видении ночном: Иаков! Иаков! Он сказал: вот я. Бог сказал: Я Бог, Бог отца твоего; не бойся идти в Египет, ибо там произведу от тебя народ великий; Я пойду с тобою в Египет, Я и выведу тебя обратно. Иосиф своею рукою закроет глаза твои. Иаков отправился из Вирсавии; и повезли сыны Израилевы Иакова отца своего, и детей своих, и жен своих на колесницах, которые послал фараон, чтобы привезти его. И взяли они скот свой и имущество свое, которое приобрели в земле Ханаанской, и пришли в Египет, - Иаков и весь род его с ним. Сынов своих и внуков своих с собою, дочерей своих и внучек своих и весь род свой привел он с собою в Египет. Вот имена сынов Израилевых, пришедших в Египет: Иаков и сыновья его. Первенец Иакова Рувим. Сыны Рувима: Ханох и Фаллу, Хецрон и Харми. Сыны Симеона: Иемуил и Иамин, и Огад, и Иахин, и Цохар, и Саул, сын Хананеянки. Сыны Левия: Гирсон, Кааф и Мерари. Сыны Иуды: Ир и Онан, и Шела, и Фарес, и Зара; но Ир и Онан умерли в земле Ханаанской. Сыны Фареса были: Есром и Хамул. Сыны Иссахара: Фола и Фува, Иов и Шимрон. Сыны Завулона: Серед и Елон, и Иахлеил. Это сыны Лии, которых она родила Иакову в Месопотамии, и Дину, дочь его. Всех душ сынов его и дочерей его - тридцать три. Сыны Гада: Цифион и Хагги, Шуни и Эцбон, Ери и Ароди и Арели. Сыны Асира: Имна и Ишва, и Ишви, и Бриа, и Серах, сестра их. Сыны Брии: Хевер и Малхиил. Это сыны Зелфы, которую Лаван дал Лии, дочери своей; она родила их Иакову шестнадцать душ. Сыны Рахили, жены Иакова: Иосиф и Вениамин. И родились у Иосифа в земле Египетской Манассия и Ефрем, которых родила ему Асенефа, дочь Потифера, жреца Илиопольского. Сыны Вениамина: Бела и Бехер и Ашбел; [сыны Белы были:] Гера и Нааман, Эхи и Рош, Муппим и Хуппим и Ард. Это сыны Рахили, которые родились у Иакова, всего четырнадцать душ. Сын Дана: Хушим. Сыны Неффалима: Иахцеил и Гуни, и Иецер, и Шиллем. Это сыны Валлы, которую дал Лаван дочери своей Рахили; она родила их Иакову всего семь душ. Всех душ, пришедших с Иаковом в Египет, которые произошли из чресл его, кроме жен сынов Иаковлевых, всего шестьдесят шесть душ. Сынов Иосифа, которые родились у него в Египте, две души. Всех душ дома Иаковлева, перешедших [с Иаковом] в Египет, семьдесят [пять]. Иуду послал он пред собою к Иосифу, чтобы он указал путь в Гесем. И пришли в землю Гесем. Иосиф запряг колесницу свою и выехал навстречу Израилю, отцу своему, в Гесем, и, увидев его, пал на шею его, и долго плакал на шее его. И сказал Израиль Иосифу: умру я теперь, увидев лице твое, ибо ты еще жив. И сказал Иосиф братьям своим и дому отца своего: я пойду, извещу фараона и скажу ему: братья мои и дом отца моего, которые были в земле Ханаанской, пришли ко мне; эти люди пастухи овец, ибо скотоводы они; и мелкий и крупный скот свой, и все, что у них, привели они. Если фараон призовет вас и скажет: какое занятие ваше? то вы скажите: мы, рабы твои, скотоводами были от юности нашей доныне, и мы и отцы наши, чтобы вас поселили в земле Гесем. And Israel went with all that he had, and came to Bathsheba, and offered sacrifices to God his father Isaac.
And God said to Israel in a night vision: Jacob! Jacob! He said: here I am.
God said: I am God, the God of your father; Do not be afraid to go to Egypt, for there I will make a great nation from you;
I will go with you to Egypt, I will bring you back. Joseph will close your eyes with his hand.
Jacob departed from Bathsheba; and the sons of Israel brought Jacob their father, and their children, and their wives in chariots, which Pharaoh sent to bring him.
And they took their cattle and their property, which they acquired in the land of Canaan, and came to Egypt, - Jacob and his whole family with him.
He brought his sons and his grandchildren with him, his daughters and his granddaughters, and his whole family with him to Egypt.
These are the names of the sons of Israel who came to Egypt: Jacob and his sons. Firstborn of Jacob Reuben.
Sons of Reuben: Hanoch and Fallu, Hezron and Harmi.
Sons of Simeon: Jemuel and Jamin, and Ogad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Saul, son of the Canaanite woman.
Sons of Levi: Gerson, Kaaf, and Merari.
The sons of Judah: Ir and Onan, and Shel, and Pharez, and Zara; but Er and Onan died in the land of Canaan. The sons of Pharez were: Esrom and Hamul.
The sons of Issachar: Fola and Fuva, Job and Shimron.
Sons of Zebulun: Sered and Elon, and Jahleel.
These are the sons of Leah, whom she bore Jacob in Mesopotamia, and Dina, his daughter. All the souls of his sons and his daughters are thirty-three.
Sons of Gad: Ziphion and Haggy, Shuni and Etzbon, Yeri and Arodi and Areli.
The sons of Asher: Imna and Ishva, and Ishvi, and Briah, and Serah, their sister. Sons of Beria: Hever and Malchiel.
These are the sons of Zelph, which Laban gave Leah his daughter; she gave birth to sixteen souls to Jacob.
The sons of Rachel, Jacob’s wife: Joseph and Benjamin.
And Manasseh and Ephraim were born to Joseph in the land of Egypt, whom Asenath the daughter of Potiphera, priest of Iliopolis, gave birth to him.
Sons of Benjamin: Bela and Becher and Ashbel; [the sons of Bela were:] Hera and Naaman, Ehi and Rosh, Muppim and Huppim and Ard.
These are the sons of Rachel, who were born to Jacob, only fourteen souls.
Son of Dan: Hushim.
Sons of Naphtali: Jahceil and Guni, and Yezer, and Shillem.
These are the sons of Walla, which Laban gave to his daughter Rachel; she gave birth to Jacob only seven souls.
Of all the souls who came with Jacob to Egypt, who came from his loins, except for the wives of the sons of Jacob, there are only sixty-six souls.
The sons of Joseph who were born to him in Egypt are two souls. Of all the souls of the house of Jacob, who passed [with Jacob] to Egypt, seventy [five].
He sent Judas before him to Joseph, so that he showed the way to Goshen. And they came to the land of Goshen.
Joseph harnessed his chariot and rode out to Gesham to meet his father Israel, and when he saw him he fell on his neck and wept for a long time on his neck.

these people are shepherds of sheep, for they are pastoralists; and their flocks and herds, and all that was with them, they brought.
If Pharaoh calls you and says: what is your occupation?
then you say: we, your servants, have been pastoralists from our youth until now, and we and our fathers, so that they may settle you in the land of Goshen. For every Egyptian shepherd is an abomination to the Egyptians.
