...И отделил Бог Богов от сущности своей душу, и создал в ней красоту. И даровал он ей тонкость дуновений зари, и аромат полевых цветов, и нежность лунного света. И протянул он ей кубок радости, сказав: «Никогда не пей из него, если не хочешь забыть прошлое и пренебречь грядущим», и кубок печали, сказав: «Пей из него, и ты постигнешь сущность веселия жизни». И посеял он в ней любовь, которая разлучается с ней при первом вздохе удовлетворенности, и сладость, уходящую с первым произнесенным словом. И низвел он к ней с неба знание, чтобы направить к путям истины. И вложил в глубины ее зрение, видящее невидимое. И создал он в ней чувствительность, которая растекается вместе с фантазией и странствует вместе с призраками. И облек он ее в одеяние страсти, сотканное ангелами из дрожания радуги. Потом вложил в нее мрак смятения – тень света. И взял Бог огонь из горна гнева и вихрь, дующий из пустыни неведения, и песок с берега моря себялюбия, и прах из-под ног веков – и создал человека. И дал ему слепую силу, взрывающуюся при безумии и потухающую перед страстями. Потом вложил в него жизнь – тень смерти. И улыбнулся Бог Богов, и прослезился, и почувствовал любовь, которой нет конца и предела, – и соединил человека с его душой. Смотрите также:

And he bestowed upon her the subtlety of the blows of the dawn, and the aroma of wildflowers, and the tenderness of moonlight.
And he handed her a cup of joy, saying: “Never drink from it unless you want to forget the past and neglect the future,” and a cup of sorrow, saying: “Drink from it, and you will comprehend the essence of the joy of life.”
And he sowed in her the love that parted with her at the first sigh of satisfaction, and the sweetness leaving with the first spoken word.
And he brought down knowledge from heaven to her, to direct him to the paths of truth.
And put into the depths of her vision, which sees the invisible.
And he created in her a sensitivity that spreads along with fantasy and wanders along with ghosts.
And he clothed her in a robe of passion, woven by the angels from the trembling of the rainbow.
Then he put into her a gloom of confusion - a shadow of light.
And God took fire from the hearth of wrath and a whirlwind blowing from the desert of ignorance, and sand from the seashore of selfishness, and dust from under the feet of centuries - and created man.
And he gave him blind power, exploding in madness and extinguishing before passions.
Then he put life into it - the shadow of death.
And the God of the Gods smiled, and wept, and felt love, which has no end and limit - and connected the man with his soul.
