同期の桜 - Doki no Sakura - "Сакуры-однокурсники" "Цветы сакуры с одного дерева"(Cherry trees of the Same Class) - последняя из популярных песен военного времени. В 1938 году известный поэт Yaso SAIJO написал стихотворение "Две цветущие сакуры" (Nirin no hana, Two Cherry Blossoms), имевшее подзаголовок "Песня товарищей" (The Song of Comrades). В июле 1939 года композитор Yoshiaki OMURA написал к нему музыку. В 1942 году кадет военно-морской школы Yosa YUTAKA слегка изменил текст и заменил название песни на "Сакуры-однокурсники". После этого песня стала очень популярной среди кадетов, а затем на всём флоте, особенно с введением практики камикадзе.
