In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Merciful!
1. He frowned and turned away,
2. because a blind man approached him.
3. How do you know? Perhaps he would have cleansed himself
4. or would remember an admonition and the remembrance would benefit him.
5. To the one who decided that he does not need anything,
6.you pay attention
7. What will happen to you if he is not cleansed?
8. And the one who comes to you with zeal
9.and fears Allah,
10. you ignore.
11. But no! This is Edification,
12. and let everyone who wishes remember him.
13. It is written in the revered scrolls,
14.ascended and purified,
15.in the hands of the messengers
16. noble and submissive.
17. May man perish! How ungrateful he is!
18. From what did He create him?
19. He created it from a drop and measured it (or predetermined the stages of its development),
20.then made it easier for him,
21. then he killed him and placed him in the grave.
22. Then, when He wishes, He will resurrect him.
23. But no! He does not do what He ordered him to do.
24. Let the man look at his food!
25. We shed heavy showers,
26.then we cut the earth with cracks
27. and grow grains on it,
28. grapes and alfalfa,
29. olives and date palms,
30.the gardens are dense (or with mighty trees),
31.fruits and herbs
32. for the benefit of you and your cattle.
33. When the deafening voice is heard,
34.on that day, a man will leave his brother,
35. his mother and his father,
36. his wife and his sons,
37. for each person will have their own worries in full.
38. On that day, some faces will shine,
39. laugh and rejoice.
40. On other faces there will be dust on that day,
41. covering them with darkness.
42. These will be unbelieving sinners.
