Псалом 18 1 В конец, псалом Давиду (К исполнению. Псалом Давида.) 2 Небеса поведают славу Божию, творение же руку Его возвещает твердь. (Небеса проповедуют славу Божию, о творении же рук Его возвещает твердь.) 3 День дни отрыгает глагол, и нощь нощи возвещает разум. (День дню изливает речь, и ночь ночи возвещает знание.) 4 Не суть речи, ниже словеса, ихже не слышатся гласи их. (Нет ни наречий, ни языков, на которых не слышатся их голоса.) 5 Во всю землю изыде вещание их и в концы вселенныя глаголы их. В солнце положи селение Свое, (Во всю землю вышел голос их, и в концы вселенной речи их. В солнце Он устроил обитель Свою,) 6 и Той, яко Жених исходяй от чертога Своего, возрадуется, яко Исполин тещи путь. (и оно, как жених, выходящий из брачного чертога своего, возрадуется, как исполин, пробежать путь.) 7 От края небесе исход Его, и сретение Его до края небесе, и несть иже укрыется теплоты Его. (От края небес восход его, и нисхождение его – до края небес, и никто не укроется от теплоты его.) 8 Закон Господень непорочен, обращаяй душы, свидетельство Господне верно, умудряющее младенцы. (Закон Господень непорочен, обращающий души, свидетельство Господне верно, умудряющее младенцев;) 9 Оправдания Господня права, веселящая сердце, заповедь Господня светла, просвещающая очи. (вожделеннее золота и многих камней драгоценных, и слаще мёда и сота.) 12 Ибо раб Твой хранит я, внегда сохранити я, воздаяние много. (И вот, раб Твой хранит их; в соблюдении их – воздаяние многое.) 13 Грехопадения кто разумеет? От тайных моих очисти мя, (Согрешения кто поймёт? От тайных дел моих очисти меня) 14 и от чуждих пощади раба Твоего, аще не обладают мною, тогда непорочен буду и очищуся от греха велика. (и от чуждых сбереги раба Твоего. Если они не овладеют мною, тогда непорочен буду и очищен от греха великого.) 15 И будут во благоволение словеса уст моих, и поучение сердца моего пред Тобою выну, Господи, Помощниче мой и Избавителю мой.
