Tracklist: 1. CJ and Co. – Devil’s Gun - это была первая песня прозвучавшая на танцполе клуба Studio 54, 26 апреля 1977 года. 2. A Taste Of Honey - Boogie Oogie Oogie - эта песня группы обладателя премии Grammy 1978 года в номинации "Лучший новый артист" быстро взлетела на вершины чартов. Эдвин Старр - американский соул исполнитель, обладавший неповторимым и на мой взгляд очень красивым тембром голоса. 7. Musique – Push In The Bush. Из-за своего откровенно сексуального подтекста песня была запрещена к ротации на многих радиостанциях, отсюда и невысокие позиции в хит-парадах, но все же это беспорный клубный супер-хит диско эры. 8. Gonzalez – I Haven't Stopped Dancing Yet. Светлая и очень позитивная мелодия, кроме того самая успешная в карьере группы, просуществовавшей лишь до 1980 года. 9. Theo Vaness – Bad Bad Boy. Могу лишь сказать, что это 100% диско и что вещь мне очень нравится. 10. Chic – Everybody Dance. Группа Chic хорошо известна всем ценителям диско. Вокальную партию здесь исполнила Norma Jean Wright, в последствии работавшая с C&C Music Factory, Аретой Франклин и Мадонной. 11. Three Degrees – Giving Up, Giving In. Со времени основания в 1963 году по конец 90-х в этом девичьем трио отметились 12 вокалисток! Когда-то группа была в числе любимых исполнителей Принца Чарльза. 12. Silver Convention – Fly Robin Fly. Это первая группа из Германии, занявшая первую строчку в американских чартах в 1975 году. Тогда становление диско только начинается, а здесь уже можно услышать именно тот саунд, который будет на пике популярности через 2-3 года. 13. Instant Funk – I Got My Mind Made Up. Больше всего мне нравится здесь женский голосок, попискивающий: Say wha-a-a-at? Хит №1 в R'n'B и Диско чартах 1979 года. 14. Gloria Gaynor – I Will Survive. Песня о женщине, которую бросили и теперь она уязвленная, но с гордо поднятой головой поет о том, что она будет жить дальше, и все лучшее конечно впереди. Grammy в номинации, Best Disco Recording Awards. 15. Donna Summer – Hot stuff. Донна Саммер одна из мега звезд эпохи диско. Также обладатель Grammy и на мой взгляд рок и диско здесь смешаны в пропорции 50 на 50, плюс остроты добавляет текст песни откровенно сексуальной направленности. 16. Jimmy Bo Horne – Spank . Опять же песенка с игриво-сексуальным текстом. 17. Carrie Lucas – Dance With Me. Следующие 4 трека объединены скажем так - танцевальной темой. Вообще, подавляющее большинство песен в стиле диско посвящено одной из двух тем: любовь и секс и танцы и having fun. 18. Chic – Dance, Dance, Dance (Yowsah, Yowsah, Yowsah). Опять Chic, потому что вклад Нила Роджерса и Бернарда Эванса в популяризацию диско и создание модных хитов того времени действительно значителен. 19. Sister Sledge – He's The Greatest Dancer - этот великолепный диско трек служил "донором" сэмплов для многих исполнителей - от Уилла Смита до Hi-Fi. Но по моему мнению, никому не удалось превзойти оригинал. Продюссеры - все тех же Роджерс и Эванс. 20. ABBA – Dancing Queen - трудно переоценить вклад ABBA в развитие музыкальной культуры, а их Dancing Queen - бесспорно шедевр вне времени и жанра. В своих интервью очень многие диджеи работавшие в конце 70-х признаются в любви к этой великолепной песне. 21. 1. CJ and Co. - Devil’s Gun - this was the first song sounded on the Studio 54 club floor on April 26, 1977.
2. A Taste Of Honey - Boogie Oogie Oogie - This song from the 1978 Grammy Award nomination for Best New Artist nominated quickly to the top of the charts. The most interesting thing is that the main musical theme of the song was developed from one of the group’s soloists accidentally recorded in the studio “singing”.
3. Michael Zager Band - Let's All Chant. In February 1978, this grotesque composition for 1 week led the American TOP 100.
4. Constellation Orchestra - Funk Encounters - pay attention to this fantastic disco track!
5. Village People - Y.M.C.A. This song can be safely called "imperishable", although I admit that someone has already gotten this funny motive.
6. Edwin Starr - Contact. Edwin Starr is an American soul performer who possessed a unique and, in my opinion, very beautiful timbre of voice.
7. Musique - Push In The Bush. Due to its frankly sexual connotation, the song was banned from rotation on many radio stations, hence the low positions in the charts, but still this is an undeniable club super-hit of the disco era.
8. Gonzalez - I Haven't Stopped Dancing Yet. A bright and very positive melody, in addition the most successful in the career of the group, which existed only until 1980.
9. Theo Vaness - Bad Bad Boy. I can only say that this is 100% disco and that I really like the thing.

16. Jimmy Bo Horne - Spank. Again a song with playfully sexy lyrics.
17. Carrie Lucas - Dance With Me. The next 4 tracks are united by, let's say, a dance theme. In general, the vast majority of disco-style songs are dedicated to one of two topics: love and sex and dancing and having fun.
18. Chic - Dance, Dance, Dance (Yowsah, Yowsah, Yowsah). Chic again, because the contribution of Neil Rogers and Bernard Evans to the popularization of disco and the creation of fashion hits of that time is really significant.
19. Sister Sledge - He's The Greatest Dancer - this great disco track served as a "donor" of samples for many artists - from Will Smith to Hi-Fi. But in my opinion, no one was able to surpass the original. The producers are all the same Rogers and Evans.
