"Glass Onion", так же как и "I Am The Walrus", была написана Джоном Ленноном в качестве его ответа критикам и поклонникам, решившим, что они нашли святые мощи в некоторых его наиболее авангардных лирических фантазиях. "В этой песне я написал, что "Морж" принадлежит Полу, - объяснял Джон много лет спустя. - В то время мы с Йоко еще находились на заоблачных высотах любви, поэтому мне просто захотелось сказать что-то приятное Полу: ты здорово старался все эти годы, поддерживая наши отношения. Я подумал: у меня есть Йоко, а ты можешь взять себе авторство". Среди отличительных черт "Glass Onion"- намеренно примитивные слова, жгучий вокал Леннона и печальный струнный финал, контрастирующий с духом композиции. Glass Onion, like I Am The Walrus, was written by John Lennon in
as his answer to critics and fans who decided that they had found holy relics
in some of his most avant-garde lyric fantasies. "In this song I
wrote that Walrus belongs to Paul, John explained many years later. - At that
Yoko and I were still at the sky-high heights of love, so I just
I wanted to say something nice to Paul: you tried hard all these years,
maintaining our relationship. I thought: I have Yoko, and you can take yourself
authorship. "Among the distinctive features of Glass Onion are intentionally primitive words,
Lennon's burning vocals and sad strings ending contrasting with the spirit

"Glass Onion" (Glass Onion "), this song is cool. John composed it, addressing all critics and all commentators who tried to analyze every word in the Beatles songs.
