Performed by the Orchestra of the Royal Scottish Guard Dragoons (bagpipes and drums). The anthem was in the repertoire of this military band because Nicholas II was the chief of the Royal Scots Grays regiment (the regiment existed until 1971 and was then merged with another unit, becoming a regiment of the Royal Scottish Dragoon Guards) and the anthem opened the ceremonies held in his honor ( from CD "Amazing Grace", 1992; recording was first released on LP "Farewell to the Grays" in 1971)
