Overheard conversation

Overheard the conversation by accident
Walking in the city park, -
The grandson explained to his grandfather desperately,
That life is easy and "everything is a bunch".
Grandfather answered him measuredly,
With my chin in my cane.
And I listened, slightly confused,
After all, I was not a guest ...
- Look, grandpa, now everything is possible:
Freedom, choice, internet.
Take it and use it, it's not difficult!
You need to live easier! Is not it so?
- That's right, granddaughter. The advice is good.
As long as there is strength, so it should be done,
Just remember the rule: the more you take,
The more should I measure from myself.
- Measure? Like this? What should I give?
For example, I took in the morning ... candy!
- Say "Thank you" to mom and hug,
Giving a piece of my heart to her for it.
- But you can't give your heart, it's inside!
- This is the secret! And every time
When you thank someone
You will give him a grain of yourself.
It happens that you don't expect anything in return
And just sincerely, loving, you do good.
And, it seems, you only give -
It returns back.
So a mother pampers a child with love,
So a friend without a second thought is selfless,
A soldier in battle risks everything by looking
In the eyes of danger, and thinking about loved ones.
The kid thought, looking at his grandfather,
Then he asked, afraid to find out the answer:
- And if, suddenly, you give yourself away for nothing?
What if someone silently takes it? ..
- This will be necessary, believe me,
But that shouldn't scare you:
Live, love, keep the door open
For everyone to whom he is ready to give himself.
And if someone forgot to say
In return, thank you, forgive him.
- It's not fair. You can't just take it! -
The kid said and even became sad ...
- And nothing will pass without a trace,
There is a price for everything: for good - good,
For indifference - oblivion will come,
And evil always brings evil back.
And even time feels love
With a kind word, as if freezing.
- Thank you, grandfather, for what you ... live!
The kid said, suddenly wiping away his tears.
- Now you gave yourself to me a little ...
I became a little younger, for a moment.
You have matured ...
The old man fell silent here,
And I quietly walked away.
Penetrated
That dialogue to the very core
Made me think about the past:
And how much did I give in my life?
And how much did you take?
I walked and thought, even muttered:
"Thank you, grandfather. Live ...
You raised a man today. "
