Бог - вічне пристановище людей ! Ти, що живеш під Всевишнього покровом, що у Всесильного тіні пробуваєш, 2 скажи до Господа: «Моє прибіжище й моя твердиня, мій Боже, на котрого я покладаюсь.» 3 Він бо спасе тебе від сітки птахолова і від погибельного мору. 4 Він тебе покриє крилами своїми, і ти втечеш під його крила; щит і забороло - його вірність. 5 Ти не злякаєшся ні страху вночі, ані стріли, що вдень літає, 6 ані чуми, що в пітьмі бродить, ані зарази, що нищить опівдні. 6 Нехай і тисяча упаде біля тебе і десять тисяч праворуч від тебе, -до тебе не підійде. 8 Ти лиш очима споглянеш -і кару грішників побачиш. 9 Бо Господь - твоє прибіжище, Всевишній - твій захист. 10 Ніяке лихо до тебе не приступить, ніяка кара не підійде близько намету твого. 11 Бо ангелам своїм він повелить про тебе, щоб берегли тебе на всіх твоїх дорогах. 12 І на руках тебе носитимуть, щоб не спіткнулася нога твоя об камінь. 13 На гада й змія будеш наступати, розтопчеш лева і дракона. 14 Тому, що він явив свою любов до мене, я його врятую; я вивищу його, бо знає моє ім'я. 15 Візве до мене, і я озвусь до нього; я буду з ним у скруті, я визволю його і його прославлю 16 Довгим віком його насичу , і явлю йому моє спасіння. God is the eternal refuge of men!
Thou that dwellest under the cover of the most High, abiding in the shadow of the Almighty,

say to the Lord, "My refuge and my stronghold, my God, on whom I trust."
3
For he shall save thee from the net of the fowler, and from the pestilence.
4
He will cover you with his wings, and you will flee under his wings; shield and prohibition - his loyalty.
5
You are not afraid of fear at night, nor of the arrow that flies by day.
6
neither the plague that wandereth in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at noon.

Let a thousand fall near you and ten thousand to your right, it will not come to you.
8
You will only look with your eyes and see the punishment of sinners.
9
For the Lord is your refuge, the Most High is your protection.
10
No calamity will come upon you, no punishment will come near your tent.
11
For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
12
And they shall carry thee in their arms, lest thy foot stumble against a stone.
13
You will step on the reptile and the serpent, you will trample the lion and the dragon.
14
Because he has shown his love for me, I will save him; I will exalt him, for he knows my name.
15
He will cry out to me, and I will speak to him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and glorify him
16
I will satisfy him with a long life, and I will show him my salvation.
