1. Начальнику хора. Псалом Давида. 2. Небеса проповедуют славу Божию, и о делах рук Его вещает твердь. 3. День дню передает речь, и ночь ночи открывает знание. 4. Нет языка, и нет наречия, где не слышался бы голос их. 5. По всей земле проходит звук их, и до пределов вселенной слова их. Он поставил в них жилище солнцу, 6. и оно выходит, как жених из брачного чертога своего, радуется, как исполин, пробежать поприще: 7. от края небес исход его, и шествие его до края их, и ничто не укрыто от теплоты его. 8. Закон Господа совершен, укрепляет душу; откровение Господа верно, умудряет простых. 9. Повеления Господа праведны, веселят сердце; заповедь Господа светла, просвещает очи. 10. Страх Господень чист, пребывает вовек. Суды Господни истина, все праведны; 11. они вожделеннее золота и даже множества золота чистого, слаще меда и капель сота; 12. и раб Твой охраняется ими, в соблюдении их великая награда. 13. Кто усмотрит погрешности свои? От тайных моих очисти меня 14. и от умышленных удержи раба Твоего, чтобы не возобладали мною. Тогда я буду непорочен и чист от великого развращения. 15. Да будут слова уст моих и помышление сердца моего благоугодны пред Тобою, Господи, твердыня моя и Избавитель мой! Смотрите также:

1. The chief of the choir. Psalm of David.
2. Heaven preaches the glory of God, and the firmament speaks of the works of His hands.
3. Day conveys speech to day, and night of night reveals knowledge.
4. There is no language, and there is no dialect where their voice is not heard.
5. Throughout the earth their sound passes, and to the limits of the universe their words. He set the house for the sun in them,
6. and it comes out, like a bridegroom from his bridal chamber, rejoices, like a giant, to run the field:
7. From the end of heaven its outcome, and its procession to their edge, and nothing is sheltered from its warmth.
8. The law of the Lord is perfect, strengthens the soul; the revelation of the Lord is true, making wise the simple.
9. The commands of the Lord are righteous; they amuse the heart; the commandment of the Lord is bright, enlightens the eyes.
10. The fear of the Lord is pure, abides forever. The judgments of the Lord are truth, all are righteous;
11. they are more desirable than gold and even plenty of pure gold, sweeter than honey and drops of honeycomb;
12. And your servant is guarded by them, in keeping their great reward.
13. Who will discern his errors? Cleanse me from my secret
14. And from the willful ones, keep Your handmaid so that I will not prevail. Then I will be blameless and pure from the great corruption.
15. Let the words of my mouth and the thought of my heart be pleasing to Thee, Lord, my strength and my Deliverer!
