В круге строго чередуются кавалеры и дамы. В процессе танца пары меняются: на каждый кон танца кавалеры сдвигаются на 1 даму против хода движения. Начальная позиция - все стоят лицом против часовой стрелки, держась за руки. Танцуется на "трехшагах" - они же "трешки вперед". Такты 1-8, с правой ноги 8 трехшагов по кругу против часовой стрелки Такты 9-16, с правой ноги 2 трехшага в центр круга, 2 - назад. Затем снова два в центр, 2 из центра. Во время движения в центр сомкнутые руки поднимаются и к концу продвижения кисти рук оказываются на уровне плеч. При движении обратно руки опускаются. Такты 17-20, все девушки на 2 трехшага с правой ноги выходят в центр, на "и" разворачиваются на левой ноге против часовой стрелки и за 1 трехшаг возвращаются в круг. При последнем, четвертом трехшаге девушки разворачиваются обратно лицом в центр через правое плечо (по часовой стрелке). Кавалеры все это время в такт хлопают в ладоши (8 раз). Такты 21-24, дальше на 2 трехшага выходят в круг кавалеры, разворачиваются, как и девушки, на левой ноге и делают 2 трехшага к девушке, которая находится от них в данный момент справа (изначально в круге она была слева). Такты 25-32, девушка и кавалер прижимаются правыми боками друг к другу, обхватывают дуг друга за талии правыми руками и кружатся на 4 трехшага. Начинают с правой ноги. Кружиться надо так, чтобы к концу четвертого трехшага кавалер был лицом по ходу круга против часовой стрелки. Он разворачивает партнершу и они начинают движение парой по кругу против часовой стрелки, держа руки на талии у партнера. Свободную руку кавалер держит согнутой за спиной, девушка - опускает вниз.
